The Skill Mill works with young offenders who face a number of significant challenges, with its programmes helping to bring a transformational impact. After three years of negotiation, The Skill Mill was weeks away from signing a social outcomes contract when the pandemic unnerved local authority service commissioners. Designed to help 220 young people to break the cycle of re-offending and gain valuable work experience, a global health pandemic was not going to get in the way of this contract going ahead!
