Celebrating Changemakers - Debbie Dixon, Poole Communities Trust

Hello and welcome to our ‘In Conversation with Changemakers’ series via the Good Finance Podcast. We want to spotlight leaders in social enterprises, charities and community that have taken on social investment to tackle some of the many key issues facing society in 2022.

On today’s podcast, we feature Debbie Dixon, Project Manager at Pool Communities Trust, a community led charity based in Poole, a large town on the Dorset coast. Whilst Poole is well known for its fabulous beaches and some successful businesses, there are also significant inequalities. Their mission is to promote economic and community growth across the town, primarily through the development of community facilities and creating places where people have the chance to thrive.
